Clean Audio Install
I'm not feeling the 4080 or zenenclosure box. so I decide to build one myself.
JL Audio.
1 13 tw5
1 500/1 v2
next install..
1 cleansweep CL441
1 300/2
2 VR690
Materials-
1 gallon polyester resin + MEKP catalyst
3 yards fiberglass cloth
2 yards Charcoal carpet
3/4 mdf
masking tape
a respirator
latex gloves
liquid nail adhesive
3M spray adhesive
brushes
wiring done by a shop off northern blvd Great Neck, NY
this is what you get in the course of 48 hours..
Before

After

The amp is bolted behind the backseat

i had to take the spare tire out...
i got this idea from this dude that did a install for a porsche. his concept was to turnover the spare tire and create a fiberglass enclosure in the spare, to "save" the spare tire.

this is being started on another g37.. ill post more pics as it comes to an end.
BTW the bass on this tw5 is aighhhh.. just waiting for the cleansweep + RBC-1

I wanted to use the spare tire space too, just worried about needed it if I do get a flat.
I'm a big JL fan too but know of some shops that have had too many headaches with cleansweeps. If it works, 2 or 3 months later, it stops working. Not enouph happy customers to push the product. They want me to use Alpine's when I'm ready.
The other shop told me to use a different brand (forgot name) and to stay away from JL's.
So I'll research more before I do my setup.
Great job on your rig
I wish you showed more pictures per step you made though hehe
