Does Bluetooth Use Stop Media Playback?

I've noticed that while using the G's bluetooth, the phone conversation audio takes over as it should. However, the playback of CD, CF Card, etc. continues. In other words, your phone call might start while you're listening to a song on track 4 but when you hang up, how you're on track 12. This is different from what I'm used to on my other car. Is this normal behavior?

If you iPod/iPhone is playing when you place or receive a call it pauses and restarts when you hang up.

OK so then it's just the CD and CF card playback that continues. Thanks for confirming guys.

my ipod does as well. i think the reason the iphone might not, is because the phone/ipod are the same unit, and its a feature built into the iphone.

the iphone pauses itself when a call is placed.

^correct.

The G37 does NOT pause the iPod when receiving/placing a call. This bothers me so much because whenever I get a call I miss the next few songs on a playlist. Is there any way to change this?

Perhaps I'm wrong. I usually have the iPhone playing music and not my iPod. Well at least I did before getting the 3G, now it wont play because of the stipid incompatible cable!

I'll have to switch back to the iPod now. I just press pause before aswering the phone. That won't help for the radio though.

whoah, why won't your iphone 3g play? the cable is 100% compatible with the playback and remote control functionality of the iphone 3g... just CHARGING isn't supported.
