I don't think its necessary to pull out the head unit... because our head units dont come with pre-amp outputs anyways.

The best thing to do would be to look next to the spare tire, there is the stock bose amp, splice into the rear speaker wires before it goes into the stock amp, and use a line output converter to convert it into RCA's.

Its either that or use the built in line output converter thing thats in some amps, like the JL 500/1...

I'm pretty sure this is how it works for our cars, correct me if im wrong

so i would just strip a part of the wire going into the stock amp withou even having to remove it and tie my line out converter wire to i and then just cover it in electrical tape.
thats alll i would need to do to splice the wire?

Yep, look up the wiring diagrams for your car, and then do this. assuming our wiring is the same as a g35:

Don't strip the wires at the amp if you don't need to. Just run a Line Level Converter from the rear speakers

PM me your email address and I'll email you the Audio section of the factory service manual. It's about 7Megabytes or so. By the way, 7z is another compression format similar to Zip files. You can find freeware on the internet to decompress 7z files.

check out page av-511 - 514 or so for bose amp inputs/outputs
wire color info is on GI-11...

B = Black
W = White
R = Red
G = Green
L = Blue
Y = Yellow
LG = Light Green
BR = Brown
OR or O = Orange
P = Pink
PU or V (Violet) = Purple
GY or GR = Gray
SB = Sky Blue
CH = Dark Brown
DG = Dark Green

When the wire color is striped, the base color is given first, followed by the stripe color as shown below:
Example: L/W = Blue with White Stripe

Sorry bud, but in order for that to happen you need to strip the wire at the amp and run your trigger off of that. If you have the service manual check for the woofer amp on signal. You need to splice into the #3 wire on the Sub Amp. I think it is Gray, whatever GR is.
You could have just gone to the sub amp in the first place and got the 3 wires that are needed instead of running 5 wires from different locations to make it happen. And no need for a Hi/Lo converter with the 1000/1. Awesome amp.
