I know you would have to being to hack the code to the main display console but does anyone else think it would be sweet if someone could come up with a way to display a radar detector throguh the auxilary input to be shown on the NAV/Controls screen? I think it would great to see a split screen with the GPS on top and the radar detector on the bottom.

I know this would not be easy to do but that would be so nice to have setup. Does anyone know if anyone has worked this out on another car with a GPS or Video Screen?

I also think it would be nifty to download all known speed traps to the GPS much like the new passport does so you could get an audible alert.

That is nice but I still think it would be beat to be part of the NAV system and to also have the speed traps.

People have come up with a lot of great ideas. I lease the car so I am not going to do to much to this car.

I just use my 8500x50 when I am in on trips. I would love to have it hidden to use all the time but it is is not woth the cost IMO.
