You just press the repeat/shuffle button on the car unit. I don't remember which button it is but just look. You will have to press it multiple times to go from repeat, shuffle cd, shuffle song, shuffle cd & repeat, etc. Sorry I cannot be more clear. I set mine one time and never change it. Shuffle song for me.
