For those without NAV, you will still need to do the same procedures on the 2 wires (colored the same), however note the layout is different (See AV-208 in the service manuals).

Did you guys find a good place to mount the switch? (I've left it hanging out from the side for now...

I imagine he ran them under behind/through the stack, under the center console, and through a drilled hole beneath the RCA jacks.

What model of player is that? Are you aware that you can remove the clock from the display? Superbad is an awesome film!

Dang Igor you beat me too it. I actually have my glove box in the house now working on a bracket for a Playstation 2. The slimline one fits nicely. Glad to see the pic quality is not THAT bad. Not to toot my own horn but I helped to make this mod happen and I helped make that movie too. Coincidence?? FATE??

Yeah I am but I kind of like the time being there on the screen, it doesn't really bother me though.

So far I'm loving the setup, no problems what so ever!

Silly question to follow:

Does this mod work for the AT as well? I imaging that we would need to cut some additional/different wires?

My passenger watched a movie off my Ipod last night en route. Now I want to add a source like this to the glove box and also a rear cam just for grins. I want to go real clean. I want to hide the wires completely and instead have a 3 source AV switcher. One for console (existing) AV , one for rear cam, another for the source in the glove box. I found this thread while searching for a switch that will mount in the blank between the seat heater swiches. Anybody done it? Tips?

I figure it will be easy enough to relay power to the cam whenever I put the AT in Reverse. I say the some wire in the shifter while I was in there doing the No No Mod.

I checked g37-tech.com for Dieseldoug's post, but couldn't find it. Does anyone have a link? Or, hopefully Igor will get back to my PM soon. I've been trying to resolve this issue since day one (without the KPtech mod). Thanks

Nice! You didn't find it easier to just have a video iPod hooked up in the arm rest?
