Nope, I used Igor Technologies

I really have no idea why people are going out and dropping $50 on the KP module when all you need is a simple $2 switch from Radio Shack and some wire.

The DVD player I used was a Power Acustic 1/2 Din. I personally got mine from Amazon, and since I bought it, the price went up for some reason.

Yeah, as long as you have RCA plugs in your arm rest.

If you all can get an OK from the website admin / forum moderator, I can give you all a step by step write up.

We can just simply say that myg37.com is not responsible or liable in the case if anyone gets injured/accident while driving with this mod.

The DVD install is great! Couple of "Idiot's Guide" questions.

(1) Where and how is the power connected; (2) did you just run an RCA cable to the arm rest; (3) Does the remote that came with the DVD not work? Is it an infra red one? What remote did you install?; and (4) What is an L-Shaped RCA connector?

1 - Look to the harness description image I posted, use those wires.

2 - Yes

3 - Yes it works, the IR sensor was ran behind the AC vents out of sight.

4 - You might need those depending on the type of RCA cable you have. You can buy them at Radio Shack also. I needed it for spacing issues in the glovebox.

Thanks.

I already have my Ipod playing Music Videos from the armrest so I guess I'll look for a switch so I can connect both and then just choose the input.
