NAVI PROBLEM or small mishap???

NAVI PROBLEM or small mishap???

anyone have this problem??? my navi always worked no problem, i used it for the first time 2day since bout a week ago...it was stuck in the ocean and kept telling me to turn when i couldnt turn and useing the wrong streets...

i put in home 2 try the fastest way home from the shore 2day and this showed up makin me pissy 4 the ride home..lmao...i was in my driveway and it still showed up i was in the ocean over an hour away...wtf???it also said 23 miles 2 get home..lol...

i shut off the radio, i shut off the car...but still nuttin..im gunna try 2 use it again in a hour or so, to see if it works...

anyone have any ideas???

Check the GPS status. See how many (if any) sats you are tracking. If it's only 1 or 2 your PDOP will be sky high and more then likely the system won't accept the position. If you are tracking plenty of sats then it could be a problem with the VSS signal (nav won't update correctly if it's interupted).

thanks bfranks..i was just messing with it and unclicked and reclicked some options and jsut goin thru the options and it finally came back 2 normal! but i have a feeling its gunna happen again

It sounds like a bad GPS antenna. If it happens again, take it to the dealer. They should be able to find the problem fairly quickly.
