What kind of phone do you have? You can always check here and see which phones work with your car's bluetooth and what features are available.

Thanks for the link EZ. No wonder caller ID doesn't show up, the system does not support that feature on my phone. It's a Palm Treo. Call waiting is unavailable, too. .

Yea, i have a regular Motorola Razr and all i did was add a new phonebook entry when promted. Then transfered the number from my phone when prompted and now it shows up as the actual callers name! Woot!

Lol...I'll go back to my razr and update my bluetooth, then switch back to my blackberry, it's suprising how the most sophisticated phones can't do as much transfer of info to the car. Blackberry curve has just basic options to view. I guess i needed to get the Nav option for some more phone fun.

+1 , When I speak the number for a new entry,(non_nav here) I get the number when it calls. When I transfer from the phone via bluetooth, I get the phone's name for that number when it calls.

Same thing, my treo doesn't show the called ID either in the G. However, it showed it in the TL
