Looking to trade my GS350 for G37 Sport & Nav

So how's the navigation? I love the Lexus navigation, its the only touch screen I feel comfortable and fast enough to get to what I need with the navigation. How's the Nav Traffic too? Is it accurate?

Infiniti's nav is pretty good, I'd say on par with the Lexus system (though I think the Lexus has a higher resolution screen. I don't think the interface is as pretty as the Lexus but its just a s functional. Neither system is as good as Honda/Acura's IMO though. The nav/traffic has been fairly accurate in my use of it....

My mom has an IS350. I highly prefer my Infiniti's Nav system over the Lexus Nav system. While both are easy to input information, I find the Lexus system more convoluted. The Infiniti is much more intuitive to switch displayed information and easier to follow when in route.

The G's navigation is extremely good IMO. It was ranked #1 in customer satisfaction by JD Power & Associates as well.

I have had 3 Honda Navs, 1 MB Nav and this Infiniti NAV is very very good and IMO better than Hondas. The MB NAV is a stoneage device.

Yeah the MB Nav does seem a little out dated, my mom has one and i like mine and my dad's infiniti's much better. The only thing i like about MB's is that you can use it while your moving to insert destinations and stuff.

You can do that, you just need to use voice-commands to do it.

The thing I like about Honda's system better is the inclusion of some nice features we don't even have. Hell my Civic Si had a calendar, calculator, metric converter, etc that our cars do not. Also, it didn't have any lockout features so you could do anything on it while driving.....

Agreed. This isn't the DOT. Sucks we can't even have videos of racing. I really enjoy watching them on Supra Forums and seeing what each car can do.

I had the SC430 (older Lexus interface), my mom has the LS460 (new interface), and I currently have the G37. Overall I think all of them are relatively easy to use, and all give you accurate directions. As far as programming, I think Infiniti wins by a small margin. The Lexus does give you a calendar of sorts... useless if you have a PDA/Pocket PC phone.

I do tend to agree that the resolution of the Lexus is a little nicer, or at least renders better... this is not to say that the Infiniti is garbage.

I suggest just going to Infiniti and playing with the menus a bit, see how you like it. I really like the programming by voice. Lexus lacks that... or it did in my version.

^^^I agree. The birds-eye view is by far one of my favorite features of the infiniti nav. Especially when its night
