Ipod Hookup

hey
i was wondering if I leave my ipod in the slot will the battery of my car get drained?

Mine has been hooked up for about 4 weeks and I haven't taken it from the car, so no.

Reason: External Power supplies do not work when the car is in the Off position.

question on ipod. If i dont get NAV will and buy the ipod adapter will it still work?

^^^ yeah it should, in fact, the ipod cable and interface comes with the premium package, nothing to do with the nav package.

Yes, iPod interface comes with Premium not Nav.

Pretty sure there are auxillary plugs in all models.. Correct?

^^Yep Diamond, the AUX ports are in all G models.

Ok another question (say i didnt get one with nav or PREMIUM) Does the AUX quality sound as good as possible? I currently have an 02 Avalanche and installed an IPOD2CAR so it basically is as good as CD quality. By using AUX cables will i get this same quailty?
