Your cable should have come with the car if you have the Premium package. It is specific to this car as it has a different connector. It looks like this: https://www.myg37.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/176841-fs-g37-ipod-connection-brand-new-pics.html

That connector is for ipod audio only. You need to get a video cable even for regualr ipods.

I'm pretty sure the iPhone will not play video through the headphone jack like some other ipods. You have to get a cable that plugs into the bottom.

Yea, I knew that already. I just didn't know if the only cable I can use is that $50 oem cable from apple which it doesn't specify if it works with the iphone.

My bad; I didn't read carefully and see you are looking for a video cable.

Not yet. I've checked online, but so far, they're all for the ipod.

I have the cable and I use it with my iPhone. I like it better than Infiniti's cable even though I lose the integration, which I is fine since it's a pain in the *** to use anyways. Apple's cable gives me more control of the iPod directly, sound reproduction is much clearer, I can look at pictures on the screen, I can watch videos (VERY useful while warming up the car ), and best of all: no stupid "accessory not compatible" message when I plug it in every time.

Just note that the cable does not charge your device. However, the Apple Composite cable also has a USB plug on it so you can buy a car charger if you want it to charge when you plug in as well. After this, it'll essentially be like Infiniti's cable, with the advantages and disadvantages from my own personal use listed above. The car charger that I bought is this and it works well: XtremeMac InCharge Auto Charger
