Does the iPod Touch work with the iPod interface?

Does anyone know if this works? It is an iPod afterall, but the interface is different. I am guessing it does not, but if it does something like play the songs but no interface, that would be good, and also wishful thinking.

Anyone know?

Cool - that gives me motivation to try it out. What is on the NAV screen - a generic iPod interface?

Thanks again.

it plugs in just like a regular ipod. I have tons of artists on my ipod touch and it really sucks having to use the infiniti wheel when the ipod touch interface is 10x faster.

I can't wait for Apple to license their technology for future nav screens or whatever else could benefit from a touch screen (as opposed to the current pressure screens)
