Is my CF slot broken?

Is my CF slot broken? The card barley sticks out when I hit the eject button. It's almost impossible to remove the card with my fingers.

Nahh dude its not supposed to spitt it out like a floppy disk.. If you having a hard time getting it out, try buying another CF card and see if you encounter the same problem..

Looks fine to me. The room is tight to get the card out - but all should be OK.

That's completely normal. If you aren't already, try pulling the card out with your thumb and index finger on the left and right sides of the card (in case you are trying to grab it from the top and the bottom). I have pretty big hands and I don't have a problem getting the card out.

I wouldn't go buying another CF card though just to try it out.

Thanks for the replies.

Seems like it should at least eject further than the recess. My fingers don't fit in the recess and I don't have very long finger nails. And Infiniti pretends to be so concerned about distracted driving.

The longer I have the car the more I realize how they REALLY dropped the ball on this audio system. I guess I'll have to break down and buy an ipod.

ummm, distracted driving? I'm guessing they thought the majority of those who would use the CF card, wouldn't be changing in while driving, but I wouldn't know for I only have one CF card and I use my 80gb ipod most of the time anyway.

Well, tweezers it is for you.
