re: TPMS, if this is the case then I stand corrected. Nothing on my '08 indicates that TPMS is connected to CAN BUS, only hardwire to the BCM. Admittedly I don't have a CONSULT-III, but if the wheel sensor does give specific pressures, then my research continues....

Thanks, Elco!!!

With consult 3 you can program (learn) new sensors installed on the car, reset any TPMS related error and monitor the data from each sensor.
Luck's like the TPMS reciever send the data to BCM and the BCM can send the live data over the CAN on request.

That's the same p/n I swapped into my '08. It was from a totaled '14 "Q60." They're on eBay for a few hundred bucks. If that HDD can be unlocked/swapped, hmmm... the possibilities.

This unit has G37x 13 written in marker on it... I have a G37x 2013 so I'm guessing it's the same NAV unit that is currently in my car.

Did you only swap the '14 "Q60" NAV and not the hard drive when you did your '08?

Bottom left: XM Radio unit
Bottom right: Bluetooth unit

On the second unit you can see the navigation unit with HDD removed.

I installed the unit on my G37x and this are the differences that i found between US and Eu units:

They have a complete different radio interface: On EU unit you can see the preset stations list while the US unit display only the current selected station.
Also on USB MP3 interface, the US unit only display the current playing song, not the songs list.

On the maintenance menu, US unit show's OIL reminder, Tire reminder, etc... while the Eu unit show's Reminder 1, reminder 2, reminder 3, etc...

The US unit will always start with MAP view on the screen. The Eu unit will start on the last screen that was selected on last power OFF(Radio, MP3, etc...)
Also the Eu unit will always show the navigation warning message when switching to navigation after power on. The US version do not show's that warning, it just display the map.

The US unit have the XM radio medule. The Eu version don't have that module installed and even the connection from radio board for XM module is missing.

I will install the SSD on US unit to see if can be converted to EU only by replacing the HDD

Thank you

Looks like Nissan is using a special hard disk for this.

Please make an image of the US unit and upload it when you have time. I would like to compare the APP.BIN files and other things.

Thanks
