I just received the Zenclosure sub box I ordered recently. Very nice fit and quality. My question is since it fits so tight against the rear seat and faces aft does this affect the sound quality?? It seems to seal the trunk from the rear seat even more.........So bottom line is that the boom needs to go thru more to get to the people in the car......stupid question??

If you seal the trunk it will sound a lot better. Remember low frequencies travel through materials. You will still feel the bass.

I'll try to get some pics, but if you go on the Zenclosures website they have pictures of their boxes. It is a very snug fit in the trunk, but still easy to pull out. No hardware required to remain stable. I have one 10" JL 6W with the JL 500/1 amp mounted on the box next to the speaker. Nice clean install....just mount the amp high enough so the RCA plugs have enough room. I will try to get my laxy butt out to the garage and take some pics today. Great sound. Even my 17 year old son thinks it rocks and you can imagine the type of music.............
