Boot time for camera

Does it take a long time for the camera to boot once you start the car? I've heard some autos (such as the Acura MDX) take too long to be useful when just starting off.

It comes on pretty quickly, but you have to sit through the Infiniti 'splash screen' on the display first. That's about 1-2 seconds.

Yeah, it is much faster than the MDX. I have a 2K7 red acura mdx touring. Still not fast enough for me, but then instantaneously isn't fast enough for me. I want it there 'before' I select reverse, if I decide to back up.

When I get in the car, I press the clutch in, select reverse, then hit the start button. By the time I have my seat belt on, the car is running and the reverse camera is up. Way to multitask. Not having to turn a key and hold it gives me a few extra seconds to do other stuff. I wear my seatbelt more often now, like all the time.
