Will images (.jpg) show if you save them on a CF card and access them through the CF card reader?

 

I believe so, havent tried it myself though.

 

Yes, it will work. I've tried it a few times.

 

I put a JPEG file on a CF card (in the root directory), put the card in the G37 CF card slot, selected the CF card as input and got a message indicating there were not audio flies on the CF card. Please describe what you did to get the picture file to show using a CF card. Thanks.

 

I know this is an old post but I still haven't found a definite answer to this question. Trying to figure this out before I go and buy one.

 

What good does showing images on the screen do? Just curious.

 

the manual does not specifically state that it will show images. so the answer should be...NO.

 

Saved a variety of image file types on CF card and none show on the screen in CF mode. Tried with car in park and with E-brake on as well. I have not actually heard of anyone really getting this to work with directions. Only site I have found is this and it just says "Yes" near the bottom of the page.
