More info please, and spell it out cause I'm an idiot when it comes to these things. I'm very interested in adding something for a lil more bass. Or, a lot more.

ill take pics when i gt back to the house basically i had the box i got of ebay that was fitted for the g35 installed in the rear matching carpet perfect fit in the odd shaped opening in the trunk the amp is mounted on the rear of the box. Had to use a lne out convertor which basically converts the speaker signal to a preout signal to send to the amp pretty simple addition 4 wires max then ran the remote to the rear of the deck and that was all. pretty much a basic setup

has anyone managed to replace the stock speakers in the doors? I'm sure the Bose ones suck... and simply replacing them would give a clearer sound without adding on anything. Any thoughts?

In fairness I haven't given the system a really good critical listen. On my 2 test drives I turned the stereo off most of the time to listen to the engine and exhaust. But form the research I have done over the internet and after asking people with more experience than I have, I've come to the conclusion to give it a fair shake before dismantling my car and dropping major coin for custom work. What I'm finding is that the informed opinion of many is that the system sounds pretty damn good but only lacks powerful low bass response. That problem is a pretty easy and relatively inexpensive fix by adding a quality amplifier and a good subwoofer. I'm thinking that I'll get a custom sub enclosure (possibly 2) and a 10" with adequate power (maybe 600 watts) and see if that takes it low and loud enough for my tastes.

I put pix of my install in the mods post. Sounds real nice with just one 12 in the trunk. Although I lost some of the little trunkspace I had.

Good choice, I am also considering the DLS. I have the amps (A4 and A6) and I love them.

The best inteface to the factory Bose I have found so far is the AudioControl DQL-8, check it out. A cheaper option is the AudioControl LC-8.

Agree. I am looking at the same set of speakers. I have an Audiocontrol DQL-8 digital signal processor that will interface directly with the stock head unit, one DLS A6 mono and a second DLS A4 four channel, and a pair of JL W6 10" waiting in to be installed. All this stuff came out of my G35. BTW, the Z-Enclosures for the G35 fit beautifully in the G37. I will send pictures when I am done. I got tuition coming up and it is going to be murder so it may be a while...

My girl just picked up her new G today and Hopefully I will be able to steal it for a day to take it apart and see whats going on.
Nah, Audiocontrol DQL-8 is the best by far, check it out at audiocontrol.com.

Agree, the stock radio sounds pretty good. I like the fact that it has a Burr Brown DSP inside.

On my G35 I chucked the spare tire, that is what road side assistance is for. I intend to do the same in my G37.
