Hey 4080, you out there? Anyone out there who purchased one of 4080's excellent custom made sub boxes for the G35 knows what i'm talking about. Has anyone heard from him lately if he's going to make boxes for the G37? If you're out there 4080 let us know what your plans are!

 

Yeah, I'm wondering if you can fab up a box for me to fit a L5 12" kicker. PM me and we'll talk. I def. want a box from you! If we cant get the L5 to work, we'll talk something else out k? LMK Mr. 4080

 

Well it's been a month, anyone heard from 4080? Would love to know if he's gotten his hands on a 37 to do his measurements for a box. Most ppl who have complaints about SOW have mentioned the lack of low end punch. Nothing a JL 10w6 and JL 500/1 couldn't fix though.

 

I am new to the "G" world..........how easy is it to hook up a sub with the Bose system....is it through a high-low converter or a pre-output?? where do you put the box?? I am a rookie!!

 

I got an email from them on 9/28. His estimate was Jan/Feb timeframe.

 

I am the test mule for the new G37 4080 enclosures. All I'm at liberty to say is that they definately WILL be coming out for the G soon and it may possibly be sooner than Jan/Feb.

For those willling to lose their spare, is there interest in a spare tire area enclosure? The enclosures will be made to fit either side and will be capable of housing a 10" driver with plenty of depth. Is there interest in a 12" enclosure as well? Keep in mind I am only asking to take these as suggestions; I am not sure exactly what is possible or what he's willing to develop. I'm sure it would depend on demand but i'll take whatever development suggestions you guys give me to him. I can say that these are probably the most solidly built high quality enclosures that you can own.

 

10" works for me . I have a JL W7 10" waiting with a 500/1 JL amp....

 

I would be willing to lose my spare....what does it take to set it up .....both in $$$$ and effort??

 

Again, I'm the test mule not the developer. I am merely taking suggestions to the manufacturer as to what G owners want. I'll keep you updated as I have information.

 

If possible, see if anything could work out for a 12" L5.

 

Any news on this? I want to install my super deep JBL 10" GTI sub and a JBL GTO AMP for it (12" x 10.5"). I was thinking a side enclosure/amp-rack as I want to keep as much of my trunk as possible (maybe amp-rack on one side, sub on the other). I definitely want to keep the hole to the rear seat as I often have to fold it down to transport long things.

I would be even more happy with a spare-tire approach, but to not think it is possible due to the depth of my GTI sub (which I love and will not replace with JL, so don't even suggest it). I suppose the amp could go there though.

 

i thought he already made one for the G37. Keep searching, i'm sure its on here.
