A "brain" transplant is all that will be required to do this. That's how it works in most other factory XM equipped cars. tssradio.com tells me they'll have a kit soon. I too will be converting the second something is available!

Keep us updated.

If XM and Sirius merge, new hybrid radios will be available to allow for the new ala carte subscriptions. I would expect these hybrid "brains" would be available for us to install. That way we can still have XM Nav Traffic with the Sirius channels we like. I'm assuming if you do a brain transplant now the XM Nav Traffic will disappear.

might be a dumb question, but are the antena interchangable, or will you have to buy a new one? That would be a pain.

^^good question I've seen it done both ways in the forums. It looks like the GM cars convert the smoothest with only a transplant from what I can tell...
