Did you know that you have the ability to completely block out another member who's posts you find annoying, offensive, or just stupid (except for annoying, offensive, or stupid staff members )? Well you do. You have an Ignore List. Feel free to ignore anyone whose idiotic posts and threads you don't want to read. Except for G37Sam's because he's a staff member and you aren't allowed to ignore him unfortunately.

To access it, click on the USER CP button (top left of every page), then in the user control panel on the left of the page find the Ignore List under Settings & Options. Type in the member's user name and click Okay. Voila! Now you never have to read their rants about Obama, how counterfeit parts hurt the car community, their crappy counterfeit parts that they're so proud of, or try to decipher what they heck they are even trying to say with their very shaky grasp on the written English language. You don't ever have to argue with them in threads anymore because you won't even see the stupid crap they post that gets your blood boiling because it's so incredibly stupid.

Please fee free to use this feature as much as you want. Your staff will certainly appreciate not being asked to referee petty disagreements between members with personality conflicts and the forum will require less moderation which is a good thing.

Once someone that is not on your ignore list quotes that post, you will likely STILL see it then. That's how it works on other forums, does this one work different?
