Yup! Should be down for a minimal period. IB owns VB and knows what they're doing. I'm not sure if they are going to update VB on here or not but a few hours isn't bad compared to a week.

Apparently the process hasn't finished yet, if it did, then it's something wrong because the forum is dead slow since early this morning.

Yeh I noticed that too but it has picked up now, back to normal. I guess the real test will be over on Driver whether or not there are any hang ups or server errors. So far so good.

Each site (four of them) were cut over individually so while one may have been down waiting for the DNS to reset over the internet others were still running.

The process was suppose to have started @ 11 am PDT but got delayed. It actually started around 3 PDT.
If you were online you could follow the process via tracert as it flowed from sj to la.

When cutting over like what was done for the sites it's not like turning a switch on or off. There are process and unexpected things can/do happen. When that occurs they get fixed which is what was done.

Yes it was running fine throughout the night and the servers started to burp around 545am PDT but wasn't all that bad. Issues got resolved and we are up and running.

This is a process. There maybe hiccups over the next few days but those will get resolved. This is not IB's first rodeo doing this. Now that 37 is in it's new home things will be able to be looked more carefully. Be patient we are almost there.

Post 11 in this thread, last paragraph.

Yes it's been a rollercoaster. Periods of speed then periods of lags. Since the move I've lost my monitoring tools for the back end so I can't give any specifics. Hopefully I'll have that app up soon but their resources should be all on getting the lagging corrected so I'm not going to bug them about it. (yet) lol
