Finally got my Headlights Customized!

Just got my headlights customized yesterday by Raul G Custom and got to install Diode Dynamics 8000k D2S Bulbs. I went with gloss black housing, silver shroud. Here are some pics!

Looks good. Not a fan of 8000K bulbs. I run Osram CBI which are very pure white.

Did you get the clear lens swap done while you were at it?

Nice job on the lights!
As far as the lens swap, much cleaner cutoff w/ a nice blue edge accent along the cutoff. It also looks much cleaner in the housing since it's crystal clear rather than those rings in the mold of the OEM Fresnal lenses.

looks good!

My new 180s arrive today. Oddly enough my paint scheme is almost exactly the same. lol. Throwing them on tomorrow.

Mine are below. The eyelid was suppose to be gloss silver but they made it black, and instead of waiting longer I just had them ship them as is and saved a bit of money.

Matte black housing
Matte black amber reflector
Black eyelid
K23 silver projector shroud
Gloss black turn signal bowl
Gloss black parking light bowl
Dual Orb LED rings
Clear projector lenses
Protective Film

Wow both turned out great, unique but not too flashy.

Headlight modification has recently sparked my interest, I know lots of people DIY, not sure if I'd be willing (or able) to bite the bullet, are you guys removing and sending your lights to these custom shops? What's the general turn around time?

I went on a trip to So Cal and he got it done in 3 hours. He also ships as well so you can send it to him. I'll post his website and he can give you a quote. I dropped off my car and picked it up in 3 hours.
