Finally got it installed. Took longer than expected because of my crappy wire stripper, and I had to re-wire the resistors I already had but man is it worth it. Looks amazing.

Side note: There was so much gross crap I cleaned off the back of the tail lights. It looked like they were never removed in 8 years.

Definately. I wouldn't have known about the resistors so that was helpful. Not to mention the fact that you have the same model, it motivated me to place the order.

I don't know if the wires differ depending on year or not, but I'm assuming they should be the same. If not you could always use a volt meter to find out which wire is the brake wire. The turn signal wire should be obvious.

I was in a rush during then install, sorry! I just used the wiring pics earlier in this thread for reference, really helped. I might get around to a video but I don't have a before/after comparison.

Does anyone know if the plug and play kits are available for the sedan yet? If not, I might just pull the trigger for the DIY kit.

Also curious if anyone that's installed this is using the factory rear turn signal bulb/location for anything else anymore (i.e parking lights)?

Doesn't appear as though they are... Tail as Turn Modules - All Products

They've been trying to get the plugs in since early in the year. Pull the trigger, you won't regret it

I left the factory bulb in disconnected.

We are still sourcing the factory connectors for the G37 Sedans. Once we have them in stock and ready to ship, I will post an update letting everyone know.

The connectors for the Sedans have been quite difficult to find, but our development team is working on it

Thanks!

Ok. Thanks for the update, Nick. I will probably just go ahead and buy the DIY kit, as I think I want to try and wire it only to trigger the outer rings when I signal anyway. Do you still have a discount code for free shipping for forum members?

I ordered mine today. Let's see what all the fuss is about. If it's anything like any of the many DD products I have ordered in the past, then I'm sure I'll be very pleased.

Thanks for the recommendation, Nick, but I'll probably just do the install myself. I'm a pretty adept DIY'er, so it should be a pretty easy install. Plus, I have some new LED tails in my new rear diffuser that I still need to wire, so I can kill two birds with one stone.

I ended up installing them directly to the taillights. Here are some pictures of the wires cut and the resistor to stop hyperblink.

Diode Dynamics Tail as Turn Infiniti G35/G37 Sedan - YouTube
I installed it exactly like this on my 2011 sedan. Same color wiring. Tried the hazards and turn signals, and everything worked great. When I started driving, I noticed that I would get hyper blinking if I had the turn signal AND the brake pressed. As soon as I would release the brake, the regular speed blinking came back. Happens on both sides. Any suggestions???
