Its 430am and I love the internet!

Got the car fixed yesterday, cost me less than $100. Done.

Now, for those that replied intellectually, thank you. One user was dead on with their analysis. The others, well, forums are full of drama and it makes for a good read.

Clearly, I was not descriptive enough in my posts and do not come on here enough for users to get a good idea of who I am, how I work, and my background. The incident described above was isolated. The CEL never came back on after the attempted stalling. Had it stayed on, certainly I would have had it towed. However, cars set and release codes all the time. I do not run to the dealer with a tow truck in hand every time something goes wrong. Plus, dealers only care about profit, not customers. I use shops that care about the customer and their car, never had an issue. And saved a ton of money too! In hindsight, I have never owned a luxury car either, this is my first. So, with that in mind, I decided to seek the help of other owners. One of which, was right.

Lastly, I should come on here more, help out, be more post active. I dont have a desk job like I am sure most of you do. I drive a truck for a trash company and work 12-14 hour days. Have no plans to mod the car, make it faster, or things like that. I do, however, have plans to randomly come on here and seek advice. I will do my best to be more active though.

Coil was giving misfire codes, replaced it, no problems since. Been looking for a better coil so I can upgrade all of them though, no such luck yet.

Dtc?

I probably missed it. And this threat might be old. But do you know what trouble codes it gave you?
i am having similar problem as described and can’t pin point the problem.
The coilpacks for mine all seem to have similar resistances and I tried swapping banks and still don’t know what it could be.

P1078 has nothing to do with coils. Google it.

My problem has been fixed.
I had to open up the timing chain cover in order to swap out the broken intake camshaft sprocket on the passenger side of the engine.
I also had the whole timing re-aligned because I noticed that the camshafts were not aligned properly.
