Hey guys, recently lowered my g37x and having issues scraping the sway bar. Mind boggles me cuz it hangs lower than my front chin and I don't rub or scrape on nothing else but sway bar. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there an aftermarket sway bar that offers more clearance? Thanks in advance!

I'm on KW V3 coils and Hotchki sways but I don't think my sways hang lower than my lower control arms. I have to drop the front shroud just to get to the berk fittings. Are you sure it's the sways scraping and they were installed correctly?

I have the same problem I got an 08 G35x

I have a metal under shroud which kind of helps but the part that scrapes is usually right where the sway bar is

I'm sorry for your issue, I also have a lowered GxS sedan but I don't have a swaybar. But I do have to chime in and say your car looks fantastic! Hope you get it resolved because I was looking into one as well!

you do have a sway bar. it may be a few mm thinner than an after-market, but you still have them.

Yeah I'm sure, i will try to get a pic. I'm thinking it's an issue us X awd guys have bc I've seen the rwd cars dropped pretty low. Its the factory sways, I was thinking maybe dealer installed wrong but I want to see if anyone else has this same issue.

Yeah exactly, I was thinking of getting the metal shroud but it's the wifey's car n she gets anxiety issues with scraping

also forgot to mention I have hotchiks sways so I know what youre talking about I see some marks of scraping on it but its not too bad. the metal under shroud will protect it a little but when you do scrape or hit something it sounds worse lol so its a trade off
