Bada$$ wheels for Vert. Tire size options question
Hey guys. Had my Vert for a few months now. Done nearly all of the power upgrades i want (other than waiting on some of you fellow vert guys/gals to get on the FI CBE group buy...plz do btw).
So now it's time for me to start looking into raising the aesthetic look of the car. I.E. , rims , IPL bumper or similar body kit, headlight project and engine bay beautification.
Can anybody share their knowledge/experience with me on acceptable tire sizes, staggered & square setups, which rims look the best IYO. My vert is moonlight white and I've considered some wheels with a white lip, obviously I've drooled over some Vossens CVT (especially with the two tone black, VFS-1, and a couple others. I dig the Rohana Rc10's. Alpha forged ones on the "get your wheels" thread.
I haven't fully modded a vehicle of mine since I was 17. When I had just finished totally pimpin my dodge truck back then it was the victim of a drunk asses hit n run
The A-hole was in a 1970 model van and let's just say it looked as if a giant great white took a full bite outta the entire hood, engine, bumper, all of that yep it was bad. The only reason the cops found the guys was bc the front fender of the van had gotten bent inwards JUST ENOUGH to eventually (10 miles or so away from the scene) pop their front tire.
Sorry that turned into a rant. Anyhow I would greatly appreciate any advice/knowledge/ext

I just bought some Vossen CV3's 20' from Need 4 Speed Motorsports. They went above and beyond for customer service and answered all questions I had. I got 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear. 245's in the front and some fat 285's in the rear. Everything else is stock on my car. No drop or anything. It looks amazing.

Thank you! I've been drooling over these for a while and saved up moolah for a while and then finally pulled the trigger on them haha. I was torn between the gunmetal ones or silver, but went with the silver. They add a whole other look to the car. But like I said, the suspension is 100% factory G37s suspension. No springs or coil-overs.....yet. Maybe some later on but not right now. I also have an IPL bumper being painted as we speak. I had a guy smash into me a few weeks ago and have a nice big hole and dent on my driver side front bumper haha.

The SSR's as well as iforged look absolutely amazing. One thing about the G37's...they have some amazing lines on the bodies of these cars and something as simple as a new set of wheels can make it stand out like no other car! 👍👍

I approve of this intent. So few people detail the engine bay, and are totally missing out on another whole aspect of the hobby. One that's personal, and just as rewarding.
I normally don't make comments about retailers unless they are exceptional, or I've had a different, more negative experience than other people. That said...
...N4S pre-sales service is excellent. Very low-pressure, helpful and immediate, with good, competitive pricing. However, that's pre-sales. Their post-sales service leaves much to be desired. So better hope you get exactly what you ordered, and that there are zero issues.
Blake, those CV3's look great in silver on a MW Vert with the top down. More aggressive than elegant, which is a fine look, IMO. So very cool, although also so very awkward at that ride height (sorry).
Redfire, do you see the distinction between an aggressive design and an elegant one? Wheels do a lot when establishing the character of a car. Un-split 5-spokes tend to say "I mean business", whereas wheels with more design flare to them, or with a highly polished surface, or chrome elements, are more about image. Another wheel that's similar to those Vossen CV3 are the Stance 6IX; slightly less expensive, and a little more unique (IMO).

Have you seen Vossen's newest design? The VSF-1.
You know, I swear most Coupes looks better with 20's than Sedans. Go figure.
The Vossen VFS-1 Wheel Unveiled
Apparently, 15% lighter than... something. IDK what, but 15% lighter than it, LOL.
Basically, 3 to 4 pounds lighter than what it would have weighed if Vossen were to use their standard wheel manufacturing process.
