how would that work. You'd ship me the finished product, then I'd ship you my OEM lights when I receive them? Would I essentially be paying more this way or would it be a clean trade + cost of work??

Yes, that is one way that could work. Or you can ship them to me and I will swap the internals if you don't trust the exterior condition of my lights. There are several options I can think of. But essentially, it'll minimized the down time, which I believe is the biggest problem people have right now. It'll also alleviate some pressure on my end.

Win win situation.

And no, you won't be paying anymore than what's included in the cost for the work.

So, find me lights to buy?

Let me know if I'm wrong. So basically you want to swap the internal with the stock light right? If that's the case, I'll be more than happy to trade you. I'm local and the lights were used for only 1100miles.

You're not wrong, but I'd need a set of internals to swap with you first. That's why I'm asking for new lights in this thread

The tabs are really easy to break on these when removing or installing.

Wow, that is a good price. Awesome find, thanks!

Hopefully they're salvaged from a crash, not stolen.

Theyre not THAT easy to break, ive removed mine half a dozen times already and never broke one. Just made me wonder why ALL the tabs are broken, like the lights were ripped out. IDK i could be wrong.

Those lights have big holes on the backside of the headlights + broken tabs, they might have been salvaged. Waiting for him to email me back about the condition of the interior.

the breaking point for me is, since I'd want to do the trade so I don't have down time on my car, I don't like the idea of giving up my brand new housings/interior (bought the car in Jan 09) to receive a salvaged pair in return with possible damage/scrapes/etc on the outside lens....Also works both ways since you can't guarantee what the customers will be sending to you as their swap. Basically I'd need to buy my own brand new housings, which are very expensive.

Unless someone wants to lend me their lights until mine are sent out, worked on and sent back for some compensation or trade for parts, etc.
