I was lookin at this wheel on the link below as a replacement for my OEM setup. They are 19" 8.5 width and 40+ offset. Discount Tire says they won't fit.

Is this correct?

Probably said it won't fit because it won't clear the calipers.

 

The stock offset for the front is 43mm. The stock offset for the rear is 45 mm.

These wheels are 40mm..... 3mm is just under 1/8" (.118"), and 5mm is just under 1/4" (.196").

Just looking at it, the calipers don't look THAT close on the stock wheels, but getting 5 mm spacers should work, I would think.

 

Solely going off of the specs of the new wheels, it will most certainly fit front and rear with no problems. 255/40R19 square tires easy.

If you have Akebono calipers, you'll definitely have to confirm with Konig or find reference photos of other cars with big brakes and the same spec and model Konig.
