Done ad nauseam, but specific situation question

I just bought 2010 base vert with the 19 inch rims.
I somewhat take issue with both the wheel gap and the wheel well overhang, but think it rides great as is so was wondering thoughts:
Lowering options:
-Only coilovers I have seen for the vert were BC racing
-Several lowering springs have been thrown around (swift, etc), but I’m afraid of being too low and stiff.
I also don’t want tire bulge, but I feel they look a bit too stretched personally.
Given I don’t want to mess with the current setup comfort too much (i.e don’t want it to get too stiff, it’s responsive enough for me as is), I was considering several options:
-Thought about spacers sooner than later, thinking 15/20 f/r max, would that affect handling too much??
-Thought about going up a size for tires 235 and 255 to help with width a little, not sure if spacers would affect the width workable without lowering. It seems like 235/45 and 255/40 would fit fine, so see below (I read many threads and 245/275 seem to be the largest that will fit, but I hesitate to go that wide)
-Thought about increasing to 235/50 from 45 and to 255/45 from 40 to decrease the gap without lowering. Would these fit?? Forgot to mention the roads where I live are TERRIBLE and more meat would be nice…

Thoughts? If plans seem reasonable, I probably would move forward first with the spacers, looking at h and r drms so easily reversible, but trying to keep costs lower (have newer tires so don’t want to spring for new tires and wheels at the moment).

Thanks for the input!
