17 inch g37x rims

Stock tire size is 225/55/17 but I am wondering if 225/45/17 will work wheel size is 17x7 1/2.

One lf many tire calculators I found on google.
Any change in diameter >3% isn't compatible with the computers. The AWD has reliability issues at >1% difference between front and rear.

Overall tire diameter change can be as much as 3% before the computer complains bitterly. AWD transfer case can have reliability issue if front/rear difference is greater than 1%
