So I've got the OEM Enkei wheels on my vert. Like an idiot, I've curbed both front wheels in the first 3 weeks of owning it. I was considering powder coating, but if I want to fix my wheels with some bondo to make them look better, the powder coating wont stick to those areas. So now Im stuck with the options of new wheels, or bondoing them and spray painting. Im leaning more towards the second option, and am trying to figure out what color scheme I want to go with. My vert is the pacific sky exterior, and I was leaning towards a bronze color, but wanted to see about getting some input from others about color options that could look nice. Thanks in advance

usually you grind/sand down curbrash first and you can get metal reinforced bondo to fill any imperfections left...that should give a good enough surface for powdercoating...that being said, spraypinting can look just as good...colourwise, a nice gunmetal would look good with that pacific sky colour
Would you like to elaborate I have some imperfections I`m trying to take care of... I get the sanding part I just don't know what to use for paint... Thanks
Did you curb them THAT much where just plain sanding won't remove the damage? You gotta add filler?
YOu can try that all metal-type bondo/filler. Dunno if that will do the trick.
This is the curbing I caused.
Is it awful? Not really. There was already some on the wheels from purchase though, so I want to go to a fresh look on them before I paint them, for kind of a new start for them until I swap them out with some new ones eventually.

Any automotive paint will do for the base coat to get the colour you want, you'll want to use a clearcoat for designed for wheels that will stand up better to acidic cleaners and brake dust and resist rock chips.
You'll want to give the paint long enough to properly cure though before having rubber installed....I waited a few weeks on these but it was cold the whole time and the tire installer still managed to gouge some of them a bit around the centrecap...
