Help with paint colour for stock 19inch sport rims and calipers

Looking to fix the curb rash on the rims and paint the rims also... what colour do you guys think would look good for the rims and calipers? I’m torn between black or gunmetal for the rims and red or gold for the calipers. Car is Malbec black so look purple-ish during the day and black at night. Also going to drop the car on some swift springs and paint the grille black. Any suggestions/ opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Gunmetal (the darkest shade available) and burnt copper calipers FTW!

If it were me I'd go with gunmetal wheels and red calipers. Black wheels to me are like black cars, they look nice new and clean but when dirty or scratched they look bad.

If you do this, we gonna need some pictures! I'm hoping to go the same route with the darkest shade gunmetal for rims and a blue of sorts for the calipers. I don't know if I wanna do a royal blue, a dodger blue, a navy blue or some type of pearly blue like (I forget his name) did with akebono decals on it.

That looks darn good. I gotta say that colour combo is what I was thinking of in my head initially

Been super busy, but got the rims and calipers painted. Cars super dirty from a road trip but this is the final result!

Looks really good. Are the center caps not painted?

Nope, left them as is so the rim colour isn’t all uniform. Looks pretty good, would recommend !
