18x9.5 +22 Offset Questions

Sup Guys! I’m new to the forums and I have a 2007 G35 Sedan. I know that it has the same body as the G37 Sedan, but with the VQ35HR. My question is that I want to run a 18x9.5 +22 square setup and I don’t know if a 245/40/18 would fit the bill. I would like to not run a stretched tire as 245’s is the recommended minimum size for a 9.5 width wheel. I’m also lowered on Tein Street Basis Z with my stock 17s. Will I rub if I run a 245/40/18 tire? If I have to stretch, can I run a 235/40/18? Will I have to roll my fenders in the front to run a 245/40/18?

Here's my G running 18x9.5 +38 on 245/45s, your plan would be 2/3" or 16mm further out, I'm at -1.0 camber so you could run more camber to help with that. But to be honest I'd pass on those wheels unless the deal is just crazy good and the wheels are a high quality set that you could easily resell if you aren't happy w/ the setup

Can I run a 235/40/18 tire and lower it a bit more to have little poke? I don’t mind some wheel poke, but I do not want any kind of tire poke. I’ve see some 19x9.5 +22 setups with a 245/40/19 tire and it seems to fit flush. I just don’t know with these 18s if I can pull it off and make it look good. I got these ESR SR11 for $700. They are $830 retail. This guy with the 19s is running a 245/40/19 tire with a 19x9.5 +25 wheel. He’s dropped on Eibach Pro Kit.

Tires should tuck ok, no prob in back, but the front fender isn't flat-rolled like the rear so you might contact the very inner front fender edge w/ heavy contact, but a bit more camber and you should be ok. Like I said, on my G I'm running light camber at -1.0.

If you've lowered your G and don't have aftermarket camber arms in front then you WILL have more camber than mine
