2013 G37x sedan, stock 17" rims - 235/50-17 Tires OK?

I recently bought a 2013 G37x sedan with the 17" stock wheels.

Does anyone run these with a 235/50-17 tire? I'm thinking of getting the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+, but it's not available in the stock 225/55-17 size. The closest from the standpoint of matching the original circumference seems to be the 235/50-17. Are those too wide for the 17 x 17.5" rim? How about clearance issues on a car with stock suspension?

Thanks,
Eric

That's not too wide but it will dull turn-in feel a bit. It'll fit in the wheel well just fine.

I agree with what slatibartfast said - that size fits.
