Issues with wheels

I recently changed up my set up in running a 265/30/19 on my new wheels they are 19x11 Et 11 and a 245/35/19 on a 19x10 -6 in the front. The fitment is spot on but when I went for a drive my slip light kept flashing on and off. I turned off VDC and after that it sounded like it was still engaging the slip. I was running the same tire set up on less aggressive wheels and never had this issue. If someone has and info that would help.

The 265/35 is about 1.5" shorter and almost 6% shorter than the 245/40/19 that the coupe came with. If you weren't having problems previously and are using the same tires it's possible the extra stretch on that 11" width wheel may have made that tire run even shorter.

That's about all I could see that would cause that. It's typically not recommended to go over 3% diameter change from OEM but the Z guys do it for tracking without issues, but hard to say where that line would be crossed, it looks like you may have crossed it there.

I had this issue with 265 35 as well. Im guessing my alignment played a role as well. When i got it aligned the lights quit coming back on. Also had this issue when i put my nardi on. When i installed it the click reel was too far off center and caused vdc and slip on. Re centered and all is well

I’m not very educated when it comes to the diameter changes but do you think if I run a 275 it will fix the issue since it’s not as stretched? Or will this be a greater then 3% change?

Yeah I’m a little stumped at the moment. My toe is in spec but I’m running -8 camber in the rear and -4 in the front. I’ve been running this for a while and never had an issue. Idk what to do. This is how it currently sits and I’d hate to have to change the stance of it

Do any adjustments to your steering wheel?

You running toe arms to get -8 camber?

275/35/19 would be more in line with the factory size. The 265/30 is only 25.23" diameter not factoring in the stretch. The 275/35 would be 26.58" diameter. You should also go for 245/40 up front. The 245/35 is only 25.7, which is a full inch shorter than factory.

Yes I am. I’m also running a kinetix traction rod for more toe adjustability.

Thanks for the advice. I was hoping to be able to run this set up but from what it’s sounding like I might need to change the stance of the car up a little bit.
