I need some info guys

Greetings guys, I am new to this forum. Prior to my G37, I have had a 1998 G20, 2004 G35 and 2008 FX45. Now own a 2008 G37.

I bought it used and can not find any details on the wheels that came on it. They are "Bazo" wheels, but I can not find any information on them or where they are from, if they are worth anything or if they are garbage... They appear to be multi piece wheels, but in some of the bolts are rust... I am apprehensive about removing them to paint the faces. What can I do about the rust? Should I just tape the lips up and sand them down and paint them and not risk ruining the bolts? I am afraid they may break and with minimal resources on these wheels, I do not want to return to factory wheels since these have great tread compared to the factory wheels. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site.
Going to be tough to work with those bolts as they are, might contact a vendor in your area that sells custom wheels and see what they say. I doubt you'll be happy with the results if you recondition/repaint the wheels without installing new bolts.

Here's a current listing for those Bazo brand wheels, it looks like they have several sets that are one piece wheels that have a 2 piece "look", might be the case w/ yours and going by the prices listed they appear to be typical cell-cast wheels.

I have not seen rear side of wheels with false rivets but these may just need replacement. When I get a little more time free I will remove from car and investigate further. I would assume I can just order new bolts from an online wheel vendor who specializes in multi piece wheels? I just don't particularly care for the chrome faces on this style of wheel face. But I would rather be thorough than badly done when it comes to painting a set of wheels.
