At wit's end trying to get tires balanced/smooth

Been having tire/wheel vibrations ever since getting all season Dunlops installed about 10k miles ago. Buying the Dunlops might have been my first mistake as I was going to originally get Michelins, but they were 2x the price. The dealership installed them, knew within 5 minutes something was up, vibrations in the steering wheel, seat, etc. Took it to another place, they redid them from scratch, vibrations are about 50% better, not good enough. I then took the car to a place with the newest Road Force Elite balancer, they said all were within Road Force spec of 20 pounds, two I believe were at 3 and 6 pounds of Road Force, but two were also 3/4 of an ounce out of balance. Paid and left the shop, vibration is better, still there. I'm also now getting that "wop wop wop" sound at certain speeds. I do know with 100% certainty that it is the tires, this did not happen at all with the factory Goodyear RS-A tires as they were smooth as silk from 0-130mph. I've heard various opinions about Road Force balancing and what the numbers should be below, some people say 20 pounds others say below 10 pounds. Is there a some kind of definitive answer to this, or should I just assume the tires are crappy and that's as good as they will get?

After 10k miles and all that balancing you've had done, and still having issues, it would seem that the tires are the culprit, may have had a bad manufacturing run, it happens.

I would take all your receipts for all the tire work you've had and go back to the place that sold them to you, maybe they can get you some pro-rated deals on a new set.
