Wheel Fitment (19" Rohana RC7)

Hey
I am looking into Rohana RC7s in 19" 8x5(front) 9.5(rear) for the S coupe with the akebono brakes. I'd rather not do 20s as I am not going to lower the car as it's my daily driver and the roads here are garbage....also I don't want it to look like a monster truck.

I've contacted Josh from Getyourwheels and he was very helpful in his response:

"19x8.5 +15 clears without the need for spacers but it'll definitely be an aggressive setup for the front of a stock height G37S coupe but an ideal setup for a lowered G37S with a bit of poke.

19X8.5 +35 will not clear the brakes and will need a 10mm spacer to clear which would put you ab 19x8.5 +25, an ideal flush setup for a stock height G37S Coupe but this setup will require extended studs with a slip on 10mm spacer instead of the ones with the studs built in.

19x9.5 +40 will be perfect but I'd definitely consider getting a 5mm spacer later down the road when you do lower the car."

However, mainly because I don't wanna bug him with noob questions, I was wondering if you guys can clarify and maybe some of you have experience with this wheel setup.

Does this mean that 19X8.5 WILL clear the front brakes?
And that 19x9.5 WILL clear the rears? Should I get spacers anyway for the rears?

If the front is poking out too much (as he mentioned it would be an aggressive setup) would getting spacers for the rears be advised?

Would this overall setup be an issue down the road?

Thanks for any help

Is there any other wheels you like w/ better offset choices? Might also look at Forgestars if they have a style you like, Josh can help get you the EXACT offset w/ those and custom colors as well, and they have some deep concave sets if that's what you're wanting. Going w/ spacers on a brand new set of wheels is surely an option, but to get the exact offset for your needs you'd need to go extended studs and that's a hassle, especially if you want to return to stock wheels later on (like trading it back in or running a winter set).

If you aren't lowering your car (not even a little bit), I wouldn't even bother with wheels TBH. The car just wouldn't look right on the RC7s. Lower the car and get a wider tire for the appropriate look imo. Otherwise, you can just keep the current wheels you have. OEM.
