20's too big for the coupe body?

So I have a few sets of wheels I'm running. I decided to try a 20" out from a friend because the 19's look kinda small from some angles and I can't decide if it's a little large for the coupe.

The wife thinks there too big and bling, but I kinda think they fit pretty good (but I have been looking at coupes running 20's for awhile so I might have become bias now lmao).

Anyway what's your opinion on 20's and if you are currently running them.....please post a pic for a comparison.

With the reverse lip I do agree they look a little too big. Maybe if they were a step lipped wheel they wouldn't look as big

yeah they were real low offsets, I think in the teens or singles so they are pretty good. The only set I'm running that don't require spacers 😂

I think 20's are fine. My IPL has stock 19's. I don't think another inch would be too much.

At stock height the 20s can look a bit off, but on lowered Gs 20s look good on coupes and sedans IMO.

imo 20s look good on ipls. on stock body coupes it looks too big bc the body is not "bulgy" enough if that makes sense. go take a look at pics of 20s on a g coupe and an ipl u should see the difference. thats jus something i noticed.

actually in addition to wat i said that only applies to flat face type wheels with no lip. bc usually wheels with lips u visually lose about an inch so a 20 inch wheel with lip will look smaller than a 20 inch wheel without lip. so in ur case if the wheels pic u posted is what ur looking at it should look fine with a stock g coupe body.

They look so ill. Seriously prefect, for my tastes at least. Maybe it's due to the wheel design? Anyway, I am loving them!

20s on a sports coupe. I agree a wheel with a lip will look a little different but I think the 20s work perfectly with the coupe body.

@micafd3s: Its crazy because on some coupes they look huge and others they look perfect. I think it has to do with the design of the wheel and possibly the color of the car? Funny thing is that when I was stationed in Mississippi I was exposed to the world of Donks. Its a whole culture out there. You would be surprised how much suspension work they put into that setup (similar to the amount of work to slam a car) so I can appreciate that.....But I still think that is wayyyyyy over the top and dreadfully ugly. Pretty cool color wrap though

@Kroy: So the overall width and height actually decreased from the 19's I usually run. The tires are a lot thinner and stretched so the actually height of the car is still sitting at the same height as before lol.

@Blnewt: I was looking at a lot of images on google and a lot of coupes don't lower the height. I agree it makes it look a lot bigger for some reason. I am actually getting a set of coils next week so I can play with fitment a little more.

@Saywhat: That is interesting about the lip vs the full face you mentioned. I have looked at a lot of wheels and I agree with you on that. People run 20's with the lip and they tend to look a little smaller than the hub to rim spoked wheels. Also, I think the 20's sit on the IPL a lot smoother because it has lower side skirts and a little more aggressive body lines.

@JustRollin: Thanks, so I grew up slamming cars with big wheels which is why I say I am bias. My wife thinks that the hellaflush/fatlace crowd is ridiculous (which in all reality it kinda is) but that's the beauty of it. People trying to be as unique as they can in a mass produced cars lol.

@Avol3x0: Thanks for the pics. Damn sexy ride.

@Jk315: RC7/10 are my favorite from Rohanna. Those look great on you coupe. What are you lowered on?
