Nail in shoulder, replace one or two tires?

Hey all, got into an unfortunate meeting with a nail in the shoulder of one of my tires on my g37x this morning.

My tread depth on my tires are 6/32nds, is there any potential issue with replacing just the front driver side tire with a new tire at 10/32nds? Or do I need to replace the two front, or all four?

I would assume this different is much less than the tolerance of the AWD system, but wanting to make sure.

How old are the tires? How many miles?

Personally, I'd replace them at least as a pair for best handling, braking, etc.

I assume you don't have road hazard coverage? If less than a year it might fine to just replace it with one but I'd measure the treads first to see how much you've worn them out. I've heard if you buy a tire from tirerack you can ask them shave it down to match your existing tires and would likely be cheaper than buying two.

If you're down to 6/32nds from 10/32nds, you're probably looking at a four corner replacement. That's a pretty large difference. That or see if you can get a new tire shaved down to match the depth of the others.
