I did some 'cheap modding' and some wheel color testing before I pull the trigger on wheels.

This weeks color: Good ol black. Black duplicolor plastidip with some platidip glossifier over it. Good looking for the most part from a few feet away, but I see lots of imperfections when I get close. The gloss is trickier than you'd think. Most people compliment it though...

I'm aiming on getting springs or coilovers soon. Still deciding on wheels.

 

At least you now know what the wheels would look like if you plan on painting them that color, not a bad look TBH.

 

I like it. Going with a red metallic next then maybe try some sort of bronze/gold/copper alloy look to see how those look.

....and deciding on coilovers. Lots of options to choose from.
