I'm looking at a couple of wheel sets, 18 X 8.75 +36 offset and 18 X 8 +40 offset both with 225/50 r18 tires. The car hasn't been lowered. Will I have any fitment problems with either of these size wheels?

Won't have any fitment problems, although I'd run a bit more tire on the 8.75" width set, at least a 245/45.
