225/50R18 Square setup question
225/50R18 Square setup question
Been looking everywhere (tirerack, discounttires, etc.) for the most grippy tires. My current tires are 225/50R18 Potenza RE960 in front and RE970 in rear.
Ever since I bought my 2008 g37 coupe, the braking has been bad. So I've recently replaced the lines w/ SS lines and put in hawk pads. Braking power has definitely improved but I want to replace the tires with something that has the most grip possible (and the fact that my current tires are dry rotting). Live in FL, so no worry of snow, so I'm thinking some type of summer tire.
Friend of mine is recommending BFGoodrich g-force sport comp2, P zero nero, and toyo proxies; in that order. However, none of these lines come in the 225/50R18 dimension. And I don't necessarily want to buy 4 rims just to buy the tires he's recommending.
Thoughts?
