2017 Q70 Special Edition 20" wheels on X

I saw these on sale in Baltimore with new rubber and scooped them up. I wasn't sure how they'd fit, but knew the bolt-pattern and offset was the same as my stock 17"s. I hated the wheel-gap on the AWD, but didn't want to lower it because I do a lot of highway driving (120 mile commute) and often have to straddle road debris at speed. So my ride height is a bit higher, and my gap is a bit more closed up. Nothing rubs with the wheel fully turned, and nothing hits when I hit bumps. I don't think the ride is noticeably impacted. There's still a bit of gap, but it's surely an improvement. I took a bunch of pictures because it was tough to judge with the shiny black paint and lighting. I do like the black center caps more than the chrome stock ones

The stock 17s look so incredibly bad that almost anything looks better than them. But with that said, those new wheels are really good looking. Very nice pick up!

Do you plan on keeping them that color? I would think a gloss black would look amazing on your car.

Nice look there for sure! What's the width and offset on those wheels and what tire size are you running?

Looks GREAT

OEM finish >>> anything else, IMO of course

Anyone know if those center caps would fit older style wheels? (Ex. sport coupe 19s)

Thanks guys! Near as I can figure, they're 9JJx20 ET43 square setup with factory 245/40ZR20 Bridgestone Potenza all-seasons. I'm planning on keeping the finish for now. The only problem is they show off my tiny brakes!

Holy ****, it looks amazing. How much did you spend for those? Dam I would like to get one, but probably very expensive. Does it fit perfectly after remove the 17" out without adjusting spring?

Ha, I told the wife in the fall that I'd need tires in the spring and we should budget $1000 (first set of tires, I didn't really know what to expect). So ever since then, I've been on CL, Ebay, and the classifieds here looking for used tire/wheel square setups in that price range where the rubber wasn't trashed. Since feb, I've been checking nearly every night. I saw these on craigslist about 3 hours away for $1000. I contacted him about 20 minutes after they were posted. I took the next day off work and drove down to get them.

Dude said he got a Q70 special edition, took the wheels off to mount 22s, then totaled the ride. He said his insurance gave him more for his 22s and these have just been sitting in his apartment, near brand new, TPMS and everything.

I wasn't sure about fitment, but I knew the offset and bolt pattern were ok. I also figured if I couldn't make them work, I could sell them for better than 1k. I drove them home, threw them on, turned the wheel all the way without rubbing, did some tight turns in the cul-de-sac and nothing rubbed. I made no other changes aside from resetting ECU because a tire pressure light came on. It's stayed off since then.

Nice pickup. Grab a set of black lugs from ZSpeedPerformance and you'll be set!
