best way to paint Chrome?




I want to add a Chrome lip to the Black Rims I just got, What would be the Best way to go.

Paint? Dip? Vinyl?

Paint only thing i'm not diggin ,once it's done it's done

lip is about emm 2" give or take

I'm looking for the most realistic Chrome look available?

Not from a shop, I'm painting myself, just need to know the beat paint and or epoxy paint best chrome etc

Chrome is tough to replicate, haven't really seen any process that looks like plating. you can get a deep silver gloss w/ powdercoating but still not chrome. You might be able to polish the metal and then clear coat it, but ???

Maybe this will help fill the picture in for my project replicate x 4 around the lip in chrome vinyl, seen in the picture the paper(stencil, need thicker stock ) I'm thinking vinyl will work best

Hmmm, so what you want is just the lettering in chrome (vinyl) and the rest of the barrel left alone? If so, I think smaller lettering would look better if you can get it die cut accurately at that size. Maybe add the Infiniti logo on each side of the "Infiniti" perhaps?
