Dealership ruined my oem wheels. Will buy me new oem 18". Which one to get?

My dealership sprayed some degreaser on my wheels and it took off the finish. To correct the problem they had all of the wheels refinished. Finish started to come off soon after.

They are now willing to buy me brand new set of oem 18" wheels. Before you ask, I asked and no they will not pay extra for the 19" sport wheels. The 19" are more expensive and they will only buy me 18" oem wheels.

I currently have the 18" XSport sedan wheels. Should I have them buy me the same XSport 18" sedan wheels or oem 2008-2010 coupe base 18" wheels which intrigues me?

Will the 18" coupe wheels flow with the lines of the sedan? Will they look like they belong? I want a sportier looking wheel but keeping the classy/professional look that my original wheels have.

What do you think will look better?

None of the above is my car. I have a 2013 G37xs sedan in Graphite Shadow

the second option for sure.

Why did they spray your wheels with degreaser? seems like a dumb thing to do in the first place.

If they have to be OEM and you won't be upgrading to a Big Brake set I'd vote for the split spoke 18s, best looking OEM sedan wheel IMO. And get all (4) of the rear 18x8.5" wheels so you can run 245s all around

What if you paid the difference from 18 to 19? Would be worth it, IMO, if they'd let you do it that way.

Yeah, or cut you a check for their cost on the wheels and then shop around for whatever you want

Yeah, good idea. OEM wheels are stupidly priced, so you might be able to get something better / lighter / whatever-er for the same cost.

I'd definitely also look into doing this! As for the two options you listed I'd go with the second one for sure. I've never been a fan of the first option but that's only my opinion. Let us know what you end up doing!

The 18" sport wheels are made by Enkei Wheels so I would just stick to those but I'm curious as to what finish it had on them for the degreaser to ruin them?

I tried all avenues, I tried to mention for me to pay the difference for the 19 or just cutting me a check. Neither was accepted. Only them buying me oem 18.

The coupe 18" are also made by Enkei.

I appreciate the opinions so far. Please keep them coming as I have to decide by Monday.

Those split spoke 18s are also Enkeis (and the best looking). But if you ever plan to do a big brake kit I'd get the duckfeet.

From: Framingham Ma,
I Agree witlh blnewt, I have the 08 Sport sedan wheels and run them as my winters, IMO they look better than the duckfeet. I've always loved those wheels since my wife had her 08XS . I vote 08 sedan sport wheels

I went from duck feet to these and I couldn't be happier.

But these will become my winter wheels as soon as I can find a set of IPL wheels.

You just made my decision for me. Im going with those coupe wheels. Looks fantastic on the sedan. I wont be lowered like you but I think they will still look great. They fit over your big brake kit? Did you need spacers?

They are very close to the brakes but they do clear. I am going to get a set of 3mm spacers just to give a little more clearance. You can get them on Amazon for $25.
