Miro wheels?

Has anyone had good luck with Miro wheels or heard good things about them? It is really tough to find nice looking and lightweight 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 rims with the right offsets for my '13 G37S sedan and these seem to tick all the right boxes. Specifically I am interested in the Type 112 that have the look of BBS race wheels that I love. I wish BBS made the right size for my car. Wait, who am I kidding, I could never justify $500+ per rim.

I am just not familiar with the company. Their website says they have been around for 20yrs, based in CA, and were formally ALT wheels, who I have heard of. I guess a lot of the Audi, VW, and BMW guys run them. I plan to use them mainly on the street, but also a few track days. Thoughts?

They're decent wheels, there's a few around here that have them, caliper clearance can be a problem though.
Might contact VMR wheels, they're a new site sponsor and have a few wheels similar to that w/ great looks and nice concavity.

Yep, i think all their wheels now have the Infiniti pattern, some of the offsets are a bit mismatched though,

VMR wheels are decent, but heavy. The Miros are a listed fit for the S and they make mention of them clearing BBK's, but I will be sure to ask about that- thanks for the idea.

They run a 35mm front and 40mm in back which seems to be about perfect for the 245/275 tires I am planning to run.

My other top pick was the TSW Interlagos as I think they will be higher quality and slightly lighter, but the offsets are screwy. Either I end up with front wheels that will look very tucked compared to the rears or front wheels that stick out quite a bit further. If you have other ideas of wheels that are very light, good offsets without needing spacers, and decently priced- let me know. I am not finding too much that works for this car.

I've actually been speaking with a rep from VMR Wheels this past week who told me that their V810 wheel, which is "flow formed" and has a design similar to the wheel in the OP, weighs about 23 pounds for a 19x9.5. For just over $300 per wheel I'd say that's a pretty good all-around wheel you can use for track and street that won't break the bank. They're constructed for BBK clearance so I'm sure that won't be an issue.

Have you thought about forgestar? Their price is around 400. I have cf5v it clear bbk and pretty light 19x9 +32 & 19x10 +45.

Thanks for the advice. I don't know how I missed those- I must have just been looking at the 710's. The 810's look really nice and they seem to have 35f/40r offsets which should be good. Are they hub centric too?

I have looked at those and really like all the color options you can pick, but I am just not crazy about the style.

Yep, their wheels are machined in-house so each hub bore is specific to the customer's application. Shoot an email to Tracy@VelocityMotoring.com and tell him you were referred by Kevin from MyG37

Don't forget Wedsport, Rays Gramlites, and the Emotion line from Work wheels. They aren't too crazy in price, are lighter-weight and have good BBK clearance for most of the styles.

Thanks for all the ideas guys! I really like the style of these Miro wheels. Has anyone owned a set or know anything about them? (Thanks for your advice blnewt)

The Enkei Raijin looks ok, but is heavy. The RPF1 is light, but has really aggressive offsets in 19" with the 245/275 tire I want to run on the track. What Enkei's were you thinking?

I think the cheapest 19" Wedsports that fit were $500+/rim(bit rich for my blood). What Gramlite and Work wheels are you referring to?

Unfortunately the jump in price from 18s to 19s is pretty big w/ the Weds & Gramlites, The Work Kiwami are a bit less at around $470 per but still busting your budget

Might give a look to Konigs flow formed wheels, they have some nice looking sets that should do well w/ your price point
Flow Formed Wheels - Konig Wheels
These are a nice look IMO and should be about the same weight as the Integrams which are 22 lbs in a 19x9.5 wheel.

If it didn't have the multiple bolt patterns it'd be pretty clean for Konig
