+15 offset?

Hey all, new member here, intro in newb forum.

Planning on springs and wheels for my 2012 g37x sedan.
Springs will be sprints.
My question is about the wheels I think I want to buy, I have spent a lot of hours looking around, and unfortunately I'm on a real tight budget so they will be fairly cheap. While I do love the concave look, it's what everyone is doing, and I think I'm going to go with a wheel with a lip instead. The wheels I'm looking at are Xxr 968's (I know I know, they are cheap) but it's a fitment question. They are available in 20x9 and 20x11, I would consider staggered but not with a 20x11 out back, too much for my taste, so I'll go square with 4 20x9's, and they are a +15 offset, so my question is with sprint's and square 20x9's +15, will they fit ok? And mostly I don't want any poke at all, will this setup stay at flush or below without any poke? Tire plan was 255/35/20 on all 4, can anyone advise if this setup will work well for what I'm looking for?

Thanks!

Welcome to the site!
If you have the stock 17" wheels the new 9 +15s will extend 49mm out from your current set.
So yeah, they will be outside your fenders. I'd shoot for a +25 at the most, and preferably something around +35.

Thanks blewnt, I know I can use a calculator to figure out how much any new wheel will extend out further than the stock placement, yes they are the 17's stock, big thing is I don't know how far extended past stock will stay inside the wheel wells without going past flush, these wheels won't work so I'll have to search more, I agree a 35-40 offset would be better, but is that true no matter if the wheel is 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5 wide? This stuff is confusing haha I just don't want any poke and will never lower more than swifts.

A 9.5 +35 will be right at the fender, so going down in width you can add about 6mm offset for every 1/2" narrower or subtract 6mm for ever 1/2" wider.

Thanks man, that's good info! Is that true for front and rear?

The rear has a bit more room, not exactly sure in mm but at least 5mm plus the rear fender edge is flat rolled from the factory, the front is semi rolled, at about a 45 degree angle so there's less clearance in front unless you flat roll them too.
